Pursuant to the notice issued by the Director of Higher Education, Assam, under Memo No DHEAIEP-20201 2022146 dated 4'h July, 2023, it is notified for
information of all concerned that the I't Merit List of students drawn up by Sonari College is published in the College Website and offline admission begins today.
The list has been compiled Department-wise/ Major Subject-wise in consideration of the best of five subjects (English being compulsory viz. English.+
best of four subjects) of the students applying for admission to the Four-year Under-Graduate Programme (FYUGP) through SAMARTH portal. It confbrms to the
reservation norrns accepted by the Govt. of Assam. 

All the students included in the list are hereby asked to gain offline admission to Sonari College invariably within 13 July, 2023.'fhey have to produce rheir
original documents at the time of admission. Each of the students seeking free admission is required to submit an exclusive photo of planting and an income
certificate to the college office.

If the enlisted students fail to gain admission during the stipulated time i.e. from 1l July, 2023 to l3 July, 2023.their seats will be cancelled and filled in by the
students to be enlisted in the 2nd Merit List which will be made on 14 July and published on 15 July, 2023.
This may, therefore, be treated as Admission Urgent.
